Privacy policy

What we collect

When you create a free account, we collect your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, your answers to our short project questions (what you're painting, why, and whether you'll hire a pro) and the paint you were viewing. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the site is used (pages viewed, device type, approximate location). We do not send your name, email or phone number to Google Analytics.

How we share it

Only if you check the box asking to be contacted, we share your contact details and project answers with up to 3 local painting contractors so they can contact you with quotes. Without that box checked, we only use your details to run your account and send you updates about your project. We never share your information with paint manufacturers.

Your choices

• You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
• You can tell the painter, or us, to stop contacting you at any time.
